Do you want to start a business, a side hobby or a passion but feel that your children are "in the way"?
I know firsthand how that feels, having raised three children on my own, with visions and ambitions of my own fueled by a marriage that was faltering terribly. I knew I had to make a way to empower myself, because in the end, when the marriage fell apart, I had to be financially and emotionally ready to support my kids.
- Despite my unfavorable situation, I was able to hold down a full time job first as a teacher, then a school principal and executive leader, and finally a university professor heading up a department and coaching professors. I was able to work on a masters and doctorate degree to prepare myself, then later start a business on my own.
- I could not have done this without some semblance of order and organization at home.
- I share in this course some of the mistakes I made, but more excitedly the tools and strategies I used or researched to help my journey and so many other parents whom I guided throughout my leadership.
